**** We are seeking a Junior-Level Acquisition Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Air Force Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (AF JWICS) Program Management Office (PMO). This position will focus on post-award contract administration, documentation management, and general acquisition support in a structured federal/DoD environment.
Job Duties- Support post-award contract administration activities, including tracking contract actions, maintaining documentation, and assisting with contract execution tasks.
- Assist with monitoring contract performance and ensuring required administrative actions are completed in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Coordinate with government personnel and internal team members to address day-to-day contract administration needs and facilitate timely actions.
- Maintain organized, accurate contract files and records to support audits, reviews, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Provide backup support for pre-award acquisition activities as needed to ensure continuity of services and program performance.
- Assist in the preparation of acquisition documentation, data gathering, and administrative support for acquisition planning efforts.
- Support communication and coordination across acquisition team members to promote efficient and timely contract processing.
- Perform additional acquisition, contracting, and program support duties as assigned to help achieve program objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, contracting, acquisition, program management, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of the federal acquisition or contracting life cycle (gained through education, formal training, or entry-level professional experience).
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures while providing reliable administrative and documentation support in a compliance-focused environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong skills in organizing and maintaining records/files.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication/coordination abilities to support multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Prior exposure to Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal acquisition/contracting environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with contract administration tasks, such as document preparation, contract file maintenance, or related support activities.
- Demonstrated interest in professional growth and development within acquisition, contracting, or program support career paths.
