About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our residential HOA properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with residents, managing community assets, over seeing daily operations, communications with residents and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and coordinating property maintenance. This role requires strong communication skills, property management expertise, and a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks such as Texas Property 209 code, Fair Housing, and county regulations.
The Community Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage all aspects of community amenities & assets, vendor management, project management, compliance management, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all recorded community documents, Texas Property Code 209, Fair Housing regulations, and other legal requirements
- Handle resident relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and maintaining positive resident relationships
- Oversee assessment collection, data entry, filing, and administrative documentation related to property operations
- Coordinate property maintenance requests with facilities management teams and ensure timely resolution using maintenance tracking system
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold property standards and facilitate necessary repairs or upgrades
- Prepare contracts, legal documents, and reports related to property management activities
- Maintain accurate records of resident files, communications, community documents and legal documentation in accordance with office procedures
- Promote community engagement initiatives to foster a welcoming environment for residents
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in HOA law and Fair Housing regulations
- Knowledge of related compliance standards
- Proficiency with property management software such as Town Square, Cinc, etc
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in contract management
- Administrative experience including data entry, filing systems, office procedures, and document preparation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Facilities management knowledge including basic property maintenance coordination
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to build rapport with residents and team members
