A well-established commercial general contractor operating throughout Central and South Texas for over 25 years is seeking an experienced bookkeeper.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, exercises sound judgment, and exhibits proven leadership capabilities. Position Responsibilities

• Review and oversee daily accounting activities

• Ensure accuracy and proper management of:

o Accounts Payable

o Accounts Receivable

• Review and/or prepare account reconciliations for:

o Bank accounts

o Credit cards

o Vendor accounts

o Contract invoices

• Analyze income statements and balance sheets

• Monitor and maintain departmental accounting systems and procedures

• Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and function properly

• Lead the department in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information

• Perform additional executive administrative duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum of 3 years of strong proficiency in Quick Books experience

• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions and their relationship to financial statements

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a team player

• Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple priorities

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Self-starter who can take initiative and work with minimal supervision

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Previous construction experience a plus

• Must have AIA invoicing experience
