We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and month-end close processes for a portfolio of 20 properties. This role manages multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash management, compliance, and supervises one accounting team member. The Accounting Manager partners with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage month-end close, including journal entries and general ledger imports
- Analyze and reconcile multi-entity financial data across 20 properties
- Review and balance reports; ensuring accuracy
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Reconcile payroll, benefits, escrow, and bank accounts
- Serve as administrator for Bank of America Cash Pro
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and mentor one bookkeeper
- Support audits, licensing filings, and regulatory reporting
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience (multi‑entity preferred)
- 10+ years General Ledger experience
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
