Accounting Manager

• This position has full P&L responsibility, including recording and reviewing standard and non-standard accounting transactions and explaining variances to forecast and budget, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Owner of complex balance sheets reconciliations, including preparing executive summaries, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff accountants, and proactively working open items to resolution to ensure the balance sheet is correct.
• Able to connect the dots between transactions and their impact on the P&L and balance sheet.
• Partner with Operations finance by providing information enabling them to make informed business decisions.
• Reconcile, research, and proactively work to resolve balance sheet reconciling items at both a consolidated and regional level.
• Assist in preparing footnote disclosures and supporting schedules for Corporate Accounting.
• Prepare correcting and recurring journal entries for close.
• Participate in special projects.

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 plus years of relevant accrual-based accounting experience required.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and v-lookup functions. Experience manipulating large data sets.
• Strong ERP experience required.
• Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
