The Accounting Leader will be responsible for mentoring and directing a team, guiding accounting processes, the general ledger, and other key accounting areas. This person will be working closely with operations managers to be a part of driving the business.

Job Functions:

• Mentor and develop a great accounting team.
• Supports Finance Leaders, and other Leaders in the company through planning, coordination, and implementation of special internal financial reports, assigned projects, and activities; great opportunity to partner up and help drive the business.
• Responsible for the execution of accounting functions to include balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, income statement analysis, and the overall month end close.
• Prepare financial statements, and the summary of performance.
• Prepare and/or review financial forecasts and budgeting process
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
  Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) required
• Minimum seven years of applicable experience required
• Three to four years of supervisory and management experience required
• Comprehensive knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and strong business acumen
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong research, problem-solving, and investigation skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, including both written and oral
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
