Overview
Interim Accounting Assistant (On-Site) – Vaco is partnering with a valued client to identify an Interim Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a fully on-site role expected to continue through at least February 28, 2026
. The Interim Accounting Assistant will assist with routine accounting functions and provide hands-on support to the accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and can make an immediate impact.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Support reconciliations and general ledger activities
- Provide assistance with month-end close tasks
- Handle additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
- Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site and commit to the interim timeframe
