Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the company’s receivables process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and recording incoming payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconciling accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Managing customer account inquiries and resolving any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Preparing and sending out invoices and statements promptly.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and accurate financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
