We are an established and growing IT integration company headquartered in San Antonio. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our accounting team. This is a hands‑on role and will provide significant growth opportunities as we create a best‑in‑class accounting department. This role requires someone who is highly analytical, a great communicator, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment for a growing company with an exciting 5‑year plan.
SeniorAccountant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- A/R and A/P responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations.
- Payroll prep
- Prepares accurate and timely financial reports.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Provides support for the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of accounting experience (can substitute two additional years of experience in lieu of an accounting degree).
- Excel and Quick Books expertise
- AR/AP/Payroll experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A strong desire to grow with a company for the next 10 years.
- A highly entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in construction and IT is a plus.
