Full Time
LocationSan Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel is required
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams
- Recent public accounting experience required (Prefer Audit or Accounting Services Experience)
- 3+ years total experience in a related field, preferred
- Experience with financial reporting including extensive familiarity with U.S. GAAP
- Knowledge of accounting and operational matters for a variety of industries
- General knowledge of U.S. income tax, margin tax, and sales tax concepts
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Delegates work to other team members
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving-skills
- Capability to prioritize and organize workload with strong attention to detail
- Experience with general ledger software, preferred
- Experience with MS Office, Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience in designing and implementing robotic process automations (RPA), preferred
- Travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas, required
- Develop an understanding of our current client base and identify opportunities for additional services
- Retain existing clients by demonstrating a client focus and sense of urgency to address client needs
- Ability to efficiently onboard clients
- Execute engagements efficiently with strong attention to detail and focus on quality
- Build relationships with clients to become a trusted member of their team
- Assist with training other team members
- Other duties as needed and assigned
- This role will be off-site regularly for face-to-face client meetings
