Retail Sales Consultant

Overview

Optimum is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultants to join our team. As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be part of one of the largest sales channels in the company. You will engage customers, exceed sales targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while representing the Optimum brand.

• Connection builder: engage with customers, listen to their needs, provide personalized guidance to help them find the right products and services.
• Store Expert: maintain deep knowledge of products and services; educate customers on options and suggest best solutions.
• Problem Solver: assist with billing and service questions, process payments, exchanges, and equipment issues; troubleshoot technical problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Brand Ambassador: embody the Optimum brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
• Team Builder: collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, assist with complex inquiries, provide backup support.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of retail selling experience.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
• For some locations, ability to travel to other stores within 35 miles; discussed at interview.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work full time and weekends as necessary.
