Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Big Spring, TX, requiring previous travel experience and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Position is located in Big Spring, TX
- Emergency Department setting
- Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Floating to other ED units may be required
- 13-week contract
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival onsite
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program required
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
