• Provide high-quality hospice care to terminally ill patients in an inpatient setting, ensuring physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Administer medications and manage symptoms to maintain comfort and quality of life for patients.
• Act as a compassionate resource for patients' families, offering support, information, and guidance on the hospice care process.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with hospice team members, including physicians, social workers, and counselors, to provide a holistic approach to patient and family care.

Candidate requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, though an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant hospice experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in hospice or palliative care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required;
  Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated empathy, emotional resilience, and ability to support patients and families during end-of-life care.
