Produce Lead

Position Summary

As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Leader:
  Supervise the team in Produce and Floral area, execute company programs, and ensure the club meets member expectations.
• Be an Expert:
  Maintain knowledge of floor and backroom operations, ensuring quality, inventory, sanitation, and compliance. Manage seasonality and collaborate with associates.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve experience, and train associates.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive business results, maintain a safe work area, ensure staffing and audit standards, and model member service.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Teach and train team, support career growth, and source new talent.
• Develop processes and practices to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis, monitoring, and improvement.
• Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards; use the Open Door Policy and assist with corrections.
• Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work, provide feedback, and model adaptability.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

• Six months experience working in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
• Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
