Job DescriptionWeare seeking reliable and skilled X-Ray Technicians to join our network of professionals. As an X-Ray Tech, you will play an essential role in performing diagnostic imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic
X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians. - Position patients properly and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Ensure patient safetyby following radiation protection protocols and maintaining proper equipment use.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment for optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
- Provide compassionate care, explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns.
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (R) required.
- Current statelicensure (if applicable).
- BLS/CPR certification.
- 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Tech (preferred, but new grads may be considered).
- Strong technical skills with imaging equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and patient-care skills.
