Agora company is seeking a commercially minded Marketing Associate ready to grow inside a high-performance direct response business.
This is not a passive support role or a production-only job. You will execute campaigns while developing a deep understanding of how they work, why they work, and how to improve them. We publish premium financial research to self-directed UK investors, and every campaign is measured, tested, and optimized for performance.
You will work cross-functionally with editorial, copy, compliance, design, and operations teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where ownership matters. AI tools are actively used to accelerate research, improve execution, and strengthen customer feedback loops. The ideal candidate sees AI as a thought partner, not a substitute for judgment.
This role is based in Baltimore, MD, with an expectation of working in-office three days per week. Because we serve UK customers, flexibility in hours is important.
Responsibilities- Coordinate product launches and live events
- Build and test offers, upsells, cross-sells, and marketing funnels
- Manage timelines and ensure on-time asset delivery
- Track campaign performance and recommend optimizations
- Improve conversion rates, average order value, retention, and lifetime value
- Ensure alignment with UK compliance standards
- Conduct hands‑on editorial quality control, including proofing and link testing
- Review customer communications and feedback to identify friction points and refine messaging
- Collaborate cross‑functionally across editorial, compliance, design, and operations teams
- Use AI tools to enhance research, execution speed, and campaign performance
- 2–3 years of experience in direct response, publishing, or performance marketing
- Strong understanding that marketing performance is measured in revenue, retention, and lifetime value
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing precision
- Clear communicator who can work independently and take ownership
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and decision‑making
- Thrives in a high‑expectation, performance‑driven environment
- Willing to do what is required to get campaigns live and optimized, with no task considered too small
Compensation Range – $55,000 -$65,000 USD
Location(s) & Work Arrangement –
Mount Vernon, Baltimore / Hybrid
