The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company.

• Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversees training programs and identifies training needs related to Accountingfunctions.

• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Prepares periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards.
• Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’sperformance.
• Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
• Provides financial analysis and reporting, with emphasis on departmentaloperations.
• Reviews financial details from past, present, and forecasted operations; identifies development opportunities and improvements that can be made.
• Works with external auditors and CPA’s and provides neededinformation.
• Maintains knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state regulations and accounting standards and ensures compliance.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

• Bachelors degree in Accountingrequired.
• Five years of related experience required.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on acomputer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds attimes.
• Able to travel asneeded.
