Position: Scientist (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry)

Corpora Science is expanding our analytical capabilities and is looking for a motivated and challenge-driven Scientist to join our team. This role offers hands‑on experience with advanced analytical instrumentation and real‑world scientific projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced analysis using Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
  • Conduct sample preparation for GC-MS analysis across various sample matrices
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and proper documentation of analytical data
  • Interpret analytical results and contribute to scientific and technical reports
  • Support method development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
  • Assist with sample registration and intake, including technical discussions with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support laboratory and client projects
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, data integrity standards, and laboratory safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Hands‑on experience with GC‑MS instrumentation
  • Familiar with GC‑MS sample preparation techniques
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
  • Enjoys challenges and working with complex analytical problems
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
