Project Engineer; Electrical

Overview

Project Engineer (Electrical) — Competitive Salary, Bonus, Training & Progression, Flexible Working.

Location:

Ayrshire – site-based, commutable from Ayr, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Dalry, Stewarton, Dunlop.

• Take ownership of electrical engineering projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and manage contractors to deliver technically compliant electrical solutions, including testing, maintenance, and statutory inspections
• Support continuous improvement and development of site electrical systems, controls, and processes, including energy efficiency and operational enhancements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline) with proven experience in electrical distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Proactive, organised, and capable of managing projects from start to finish, with strong communication, team-working, and problem-solving skills
• Experienced in project management and contractor coordination, with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  AutoCAD or similar is desirable
