CDL-A Regional Truck Driver – Heavy Haul – $85,000–$92,000/Year
Pay Range: $0.62–$0.68 CPM (based on tenure)

Home Time: Weekly reset (with possible midweek home nights for local drivers)

We are hiring experienced CDL-A regional drivers for a dedicated heavy-haul regional position based out of Salt Lake City, UT
. Drivers will deliver dry van freight to retail locations throughout Utah, Idaho, and Montana
.
This is a stable, year-round position offering consistent miles, assigned equipment, structured pay increases, and predictable scheduling. Drivers must be comfortable operating heavy loads in mountainous terrain and winter weather conditions.
Pay & Compensation- Starting pay: $0.62 CPM
- Average weekly miles: ~2,300
- Estimated annual earnings: $85,000+ (W-2; not guaranteed)
- 6 months: $0.63 CPM
- 1–2 years: $0.64 CPM (avg $87,000/year)
- 2–3 years: $0.66 CPM (avg $89,000/year)
- 3–4 years: $0.67 CPM (avg $90,000/year)
- 4–5+ years: $0.68 CPM (avg $92,000/year)
- Regional operation with weekly reset
- Alternating schedule:
- 6-day work week
- 4-day work week
- Start day is consistent once assigned (typically Tuesday or Thursday)
- Weekend work required
- Start time window: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM (assigned by account)
- Average workday:
11–14 hours - Drivers living within 75 miles of Salt Lake City may have the opportunity to be home 1–2 nights per week in addition to reset (not guaranteed)
- Assigned automatic Freightliner sleeper trucks
- Single bunk sleepers
- 53 dry van trailers
- Heavy-haul loads (gross weight up to 105,500 lbs)
- No-touch freight
- Mix of drop & hook and live load/unload (majority drop & hook)
- Trucks must remain at the account during time off
Regional operation serving:
- Utah
- Idaho
- Montana
All routes originate from Salt Lake City, UT

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to chain as weather conditions require
- Comfortable driving in mountains and winter conditions
- Must meet DOT physical and safety requirements
- Must have personal transportation to and from the account
- Willingness to assist other regional operations as needed
