• Part Time | 20 hours/week
• Bus Schedule | Mon‑Thurs 7:15am‑9:00am & 2:30pm‑4:30pm;
  Friday 7:15am‑9:00am & 11:30am‑1:30pm
• Additional Opportunity:
  Autism Aide/Van Driver, 29 hrs/week

Job Summary & Deliverables

The Driver ensures safe and efficient transport of clients to and from Valley locations, and maintains the vehicle's safety, cleanliness, and records.

Essential Functions

• Comply with safety policies and procedures while operating vehicle.
• Transport clients to and from Valley locations.
• Follow safest and most efficient route.
• Maintain knowledge of routes, stops, and client boarding information.
• Coordinate with employees accompanying clients; assist with behavior management.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Follow emergency procedures and report incidents.
• Maintain required transportation records.
• Adhere to DOT, CDL, and local regulations as applicable.
• Keep vans at a Valley property when not in use; may keep at a nearby location between hours.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• No previous experience required (see Preferred Qualifications).

Licenses/Certifications

• Minimum age 21 and current driver’s license.
• Valley de‑escalation certification.
• CDL with passenger endorsement for DOT vehicles.
• DOT Health Certificate for DOT vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous transportation experience.
