The primary function of the Delivery Driver is to assist in the transfer of parts to/from KWS locations and vendors/customers.

• Pick‑up and deliver parts from local suppliers and to appropriate KWS locations.
• Pick and verify all parts being delivered to other Kenworth Sales locations and pick up and verify all parts being returned to a different KWS location.
• After‑hour deliveries will require dis‑arming and arming the alarm system and securing the site when arriving and leaving.
• Deliver cores to Parts Department ensuring they are appropriately tagged and boxed.
• Pick and prepare orders throughout the day as needed.
• Assist in housekeeping and stocking parts.
• Drive company vehicles in a safe manner and obey all traffic laws.
• Keep the vehicle serviced and washed as needed.
• Operate warehouse forklifts to load/unload delivery trucks.
• Participate in an annual fiscal inventory.

• Able to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Desire to learn all phases of the business for possible promotion.
• Experience in Shipping: knowledge of bills of lading and freight bills.

• Excellent organization and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate a warehouse forklift and complete a formal training program.
• Experience in Customer Service and Delivery.
• DOT card and bumper pull/fifth wheel trailer experience preferred.

This position involves both sedentary and active work. For part of the shift the employee will work at a desk in a warehouse, doing paperwork, telephoning, filing, and ten‑key. For part of the shift the employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving around the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance, will be required.

The employee will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
