Pink Seams is excited to announce the opening of 2 new positions for a full-time or 4 positions for a part-time, seasonal bridal sewistto support our exclusive team during the 2026 bridal season! As a bridal sewist you will be responsible for executing a range of fit adjustments on high-end bridal gowns.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can take the initiative. Communication and a positive attitude will be key as you work with each department to ensure the bride has the correct fit in time for her big day! This position is seasonal from February to the end of August and includes 4 weeks of paid certification training.
The full-time position will be salaried at $20-$22/hour for 40 hours/week. The part time position will be hourly at $20-$22/hour at 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities- Completing all alterations pinned and indicated by the certified fitters
- following instructions on the alterations ticket to ensure proper adjustments are being made
- working efficiently to create high-quality work with minimal mistakes within a specific timeframe as is outlined by the weekly production schedule
- quality checking work as it is being completed
- mopping and sweeping work areas to ensure proper cleanliness
- other responsibilities assigned by senior staff
- High school diploma or GED minimal
- Experience in luxury clothing required
- 1-3 years of bridal machine sewing experience required
- hand sewing experience required
- Ability to problem solve with on the spot solutions
- Go-getter attitude who takes the initiative with minimal direction
- Must have positive attitude
- Active listener who can follow instructions with little input from senior staff
- Friday and Saturday required
- Position is seasonal from March 1 - August 31 with training beginning in February
- Contract work
- Salaried at a rate of $20-22/hour for 40 hours/week or $20-$22/hour at 20 hours/week
- Friday and Saturday required
- Contract runs from March 1 to August 31 with certification training beginning February
- Must complete on-site training and certification within 30 days of start date
- Hours nonnegotiable
- Contract position with the possibility of extension past August 31, 2026
- Machine and/or hand sewing test will be administered to all candidates before hire to accurately gauge level of sewing skill
