Holladay Lions Recreation Center is located in the heart of Holladay. Our facility offers a wide variety of programs and services, including youth and adult sports leagues, birthday party packages, facility rentals, fitness classes, and more.

• Swim instructor and lifeguard positions (must be at least 15 years old). Email Rose for applications.
• Lifeguard (early morning, mid‑day shifts). Please list your availability in the application. Start as a lifeguard trainee if not currently certified with Star Guard.
• Group lesson swim instructors
• Private swim instructors
• Water aerobics instructor (must have primary group certification upon hire)
• Arthritis aerobics instructor (must have arthritis instructor certification upon hire)

• Year‑round position facilitating a safe and fun environment for the youth in the community. Must be at least 16 years of age.

  Sunday‑Saturday, variable by day.

• Youth sport officials / referees / site supervisors (starting age 14). Sports:
  Outdoor soccer, T‑ball, baseball, basketball, volleyball officials. Seasons: spring, fall, winter.

• Year‑round. Provide a safe and fun environment while parents exercise. Must be at least 16 years of age. Cover 8 am‑11 am Monday‑Wednesday and Friday; also 5 pm‑7:30 pm shifts.

• Certified group fitness instructor (must have current primary group certification and current CPR upon hire)

No staff needed at this time.

• Front desk attendants for morning, night, and weekend shifts. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Applicants must pass a background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP (Record of Arrest and Prosecution) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

• At‑will, FLSA non‑exempt employee.
• Eligible for 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month.
• Must comply with SLCO Parks & Recreation "Conditions of Employment" guidelines for age 14/15 employees (restricted schedules and hours at Holladay Lions RC only).
• Not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
• Not considered merit employees.
• Employees may be terminated for any reason without notice or pre‑termination hearing.
