Job Description
  • Job Title:
    Java Developer with Dev Ops

  • Type: FTE (No C2C or Sub contractor)

  • Mode:
    Hybrid

    Salt Lake City UT / Dallas TX

Responsibilities
  • Java Backend 5 to 7 years with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, Micronaut, REST APIs, exception handling, API design.
  • API Engineering:
    Strong experience building and integrating APIs. SOAP, REST.
  • Dev Ops CICD:
    Hands on with Git Hub, Maven, Jenkins automated unit, functional testing, JUnit, JMeter and E2E testing, Wire Mock and performance testing skills.
  • Observability Tooling:
    Familiar with Sonar Qube, Datadog, Splunk.
  • Security:
    Understanding of Authentication SSO, OAuth, OIDC, SAML token handling.
  • Scripting: OS Linux, Unix, shell scripting; additional Python skills preferred.
  • Front End:
    Working knowledge of React, Angular for end-to-end validation.
  • Debugging:
    Strong troubleshooting across distributed systems.
Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: [$61,087 to $104,364]

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
