We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to join the Care for Business (C4B) Technology team. Care for Business delivers employer‑sponsored caregiving benefits to enterprise clients, helping working families access high‑quality care while supporting HR and benefits leaders with scalable solutions. As an Engineering Manager on the C4B team, you will lead a small, agile team responsible for building and scaling platforms and services that power our B2B offerings.

You will be accountable for technical delivery, people leadership, and cross‑functional partnership to ensure we ship high‑quality, reliable solutions that meet the needs of enterprise customers.

• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to understand business and enterprise customer requirements
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and Business teams
• Shape development processes to promote high‑quality output while enabling rapid iteration
• Own and review deliverables for accuracy, scalability, performance, and completeness
• Lead architectural discussions and contribute to system design, technical roadmaps, and project timelines
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance when needed while empowering the team to execute independently
• Lead and manage a globally distributed development team
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience leading a team as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with React
• Hands‑on experience with Java or Golang is required
• Experience designing and building microservices architectures
• Deep experience working within AWS cloud environments
• Experience building and operating scalable, customer‑facing platforms
• Ability to thrive in a multi‑site, cross‑functional development environment
• Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders, particularly in B2B or enterprise contexts
