Job Summary
The Housing Advocate Dorm Lead provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing homelessness by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming shelter environment. This role involves direct guest engagement, monitoring dorms and common areas, and assisting with basic facility upkeep. The Dorm Lead responds to guest needs, helps resolve conflicts, and collaborates with supervisors and team members to maintain a respectful and inclusive space.
This position is trained in crisis intervention, incident reporting, and best practices, and demonstrates cultural responsiveness and strong boundary-setting skills.
