PURPOSE OF POSITION: As a Level III Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, leverage your advanced experience with gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics to maintain a range of resort equipment effectively.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fleet vehicles efficiently.
- Maintain gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and electrical components.
- Train and mentor Level I and II technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
- Assist Level IV technicians as needed to complete complex repairs.
- Engage in moderate fabrication projects and develop custom modifications.
- Innovate and implement efficient methods for service and repairs.
- Support some administrative tasks, including parts procurement, writing purchase orders, and maintaining records.
- Document parts usage and all work performed on work orders diligently.
- Adhere to all safety practices and maintain a professional appearance.
- Keep tools and the work area clean and well-maintained.
- Manage the motor pool, ensuring accountability for damages daily.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fleet maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training is preferred.
- ASE Certifications are a plus.
- Specialized training in hydraulics and electronics is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in various conditions is essential.
- A complete inventory of tools including hand tools, air tools, and diagnostic equipment is necessary.
- Year Round
- Pay: $30.00 per hour
