Responsibilities

  • Maintain lighting systems bulbs and ballasts
  • Install carpet flooring systems
  • Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts
  • Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture
  • Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems
  • Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps
  • Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings
  • Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned
  • Prioritizes all PM’s, corrective and emergent work orders for the site (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily)
  • Update work order status in real time, utilizing Corrigo system
  • Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner
  • This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies
  • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
  • Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws
  • Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed
  • Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the Maintenance Mechanic role
  • Work Hours - Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
What your day-to-day will look like

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills
  • BAS experience
  • Preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
Required Skills And Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS Corrigio, etc
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training in the areas of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. (Preferred)
