. If you have a background in IT, electro-mechanical repair, or network diagnostics, we are prepared to invest in your training to become a certified Petroleum Equipment Service Technician.

This isn't just turning a wrench—it's managing mission-critical, high-value infrastructure.

The Technical Mission

You will be the on-site expert responsible for the end-to-end functionality of modern fueling systems, focusing on diagnostics, integration, and compliance.

Systems Integration:
Install and configure intricate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems (Gilbarco Passport, Verifone) and ensure seamless interfacing with fuel dispensers and back-office networks.

Advanced Diagnostics:
Perform in-depth electrical troubleshooting and circuit diagnostics on electronic equipment. Utilize specialized diagnostic software and test equipment to identify and resolve complex component failures in dispensers (Wayne, Gilbarco).

Environmental Monitoring & IoT:
Service and maintain sophisticated Tank Monitoring Systems (e.g., Veeder-Root) and interstitial leak detection sensors—critical systems that rely on precise sensor data and network connectivity.

Infrastructure Management:
Install and repair high-voltage wiring, submersible pumps, and complex piping systems associated with Underground/Above ground Storage Tanks (UST/AST), ensuring all mechanical and electrical work meets stringent regulatory codes.

Compliance & Certification:
Ensure all system calibrations and operations adhere to federal, state, and environmental regulations, maintaining detailed electronic service and inspection logs.

The Ideal Technical Candidate

Strong Technical Aptitude:
Prior experience or proven knowledge in IT, networking, circuit diagnostics, or electro-mechanical repair is highly valued.

Systems Focus:
Experience with POS systems, network infrastructure, or low-voltage electronic controls is a major plus.

Problem Solver:
Proven ability to interpret complex technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings to diagnose failures in the field.

Commitment to Safety:
The ability to operate safely within hazardous and confined-space environments.

Competitive Pay: $22 - $30/hr based on relevant experience.

Before You Leap:

This is a safety-sensitive position and requires the following:

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana testing.

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, which includes lifting up to 75 lbs, twisting, kneeling, pulling, and squatting.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 5 years).

Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required (travel expenses covered).

Important Note: Although marijuana use may be legal in some states, federal guidelines and company policy require testing for all safety-sensitive positions per DOT standards.
