Overview
Landscape Solutions, Inc., located in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking 40 temporary, full-time Landscape Laborers. Duties include landscape or grounds maintenance using hand or power tools or equipment, including sod, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, installing sprinklers, and installing mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. No education or experience required.
Responsibilities- Landscape or maintain grounds or property using hand or power tools or equipment.
- Sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake.
- Install sprinklers.
- Install mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
- Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Depending on weather conditions, work on Fridays and Saturdays may be required.
- Daily travel to various locations in Salt Lake City, Utah, and in Davis and Weber Counties.
- Work period: 4/1/2026 through 11/30/2026.
- Wage: $20.19 – $24.00 per hour.
- OT, when offered, paid at $30.29 – $36.00/hr.
- On-the-job training available.
- Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at company discretion based on performance, skill, and tenure.
- The employer will use a single workweek for wage calculation and workers are paid on Fridays (bi-weekly) by check.
- All legally required deductions will be made from pay.
- Optional: an interest-free loan or cash advance may be provided prior to or during the work period, with written consent and agreed repayment terms.
- Housing or lodging will not be provided.
- Travel to various locations in Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber Counties will be required.
- If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work, or arrange and pay directly.
- Upon completion or early dismissal, the employer will pay reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or voluntary abandonment.
- Transportation payment will be equal to the most economical common carrier for the distances involved.
- Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day, up to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
- Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location in Salt Lake City, UT.
- Employer will provide daily transportation among worksite locations in Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber Counties.
- Visa-related fees are reimbursed in the first workweek.
- The employer provides all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge.
- The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment.
