Truck Equipment Installer​/Mechanic​/Welder

Overview

Mechanics/Truck Equipment Installers on our team are responsible for installing and repairing equipment on work trucks for municipalities, DOT’s, and contractors. Job duties include installation or service of hydraulic systems, automotive electrical system aftermarket components, and basic mechanical assembly of dump bodies and various snow and ice removal equipment. Some MIG welding may be possible. Placement of truck equipment components to requirements by reading job orders and specifications.

Some overtime may be required.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
• Lift material weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Work an entire shift standing.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to meet background check requirements.

• Complete knowledge of job tasks is NOT required but experience with some of the tasks is valued.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Welding experience a plus. (Either on-the-job or technical training)
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Have mechanic tools
• Have a great attitude.
• Strong work ethic
• Great communication and organization skills
• Desire to build a career with a long-standing company.
