JOB DESCRIPTION - Second Shift

The Level 2 Heavy Equipment Technician contributes to safe, reliable equipment operation by diagnosing and repairing forklifts, skid-loaders, trucks, and large production equipment. • Master the Equipment:
  Diagnose and repair forklifts, skid-loaders, trucks, and large production equipment as an experienced heavy equipment technician.
• Customer Champion:
  Keep equipment running to support colleagues and maintain a friendly, service-oriented approach.
• Safety First:
  Lead by example and help maintain an impeccable safety record.

• 3-5 years of experience maintaining heavy equipment.
• Forklift and skid-loader service understanding.
• Truck PM service and inspection understanding.
• Trailer inspection service understanding.
• A/C certification preferred.
• Air brake certified.
• General computer skills.
• Set of tools to perform all functions of the job (list of required tools will be supplied).
• Smartphone required for attendance tracking, work order assignments, safety training, and required form submission.
• Diagnostic software experience.
• Suspension/brake system training for trucks and trailers.
• Electrical and hydraulic schematic understanding.
• DOT inspection license preferred.
• Ability to lead and train on equipment PM servicing.

• Second shift — Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
