Overview
Description ICM Solutions is seeking a skilled Shop Service Technician to join our team in Murray, UT. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of metals from sheet to heavy plate. The Shop Service Technician will be required to read and interpret build prints, follow build instruction, and exceed the estimated weld times. Working knowledge of crusher mechanics, track plants, jaws, cones, bore welding, and machining is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will work with a safety-first mindset in all tasks and consistently utilize our safety systems including TRACK and Tyfoom. ICM Solutions strives for a zero-accident workplace and safe guidelines are required on all job sites.
- Demonstrate and work safely in all aspects of the job. Be a safety champion within the team, lead and model safe behaviors and drive continued safety improvements.
- Interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Work along manager and team leader to solve problems and provide solutions.
- Ability to work well in a team, give input, drive accountability, and train and mentor others.
- Ability to see the big picture of the job and how your contribution impacts the project.
- Ability to work from instruction and job routings.
- Able to perform work in desired time requirements for each task and job.
- Experience utilizing FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and Carbon arc gouging processes.
- Experience fitting weldments per designed prints.
- Heavy construction and/or mining equipment experience
- Some experience with Metso crushing, screening and conveying is highly preferred
