Position Summary
We are seeking a Service/Industrial Maintenance Mechanical Technician in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial gas engines (0.25–9.5 MW) running on natural or alternative gases. Responsibilities include routine and major service, minor repairs, failure analysis, reporting, supplier coordination, and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements- 4+ years experience with reciprocating engines or similar mechanical/electrical systems
- Mechanic, automotive electrician, or industrial electrician background
- Mechanical Technician certification or higher
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and legal work authorization
- Reside in or willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, UT
- Experience with Jenbacher gas/diesel engines (Series 6 preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow technical procedures
- Teamwork and customer service focus
- Computer proficiency and PLC knowledge
