Position:
Maintenance Technician Level III. You will help ensure the reliability and efficiency of production operations by maintaining and optimizing equipment, taking ownership of projects, solving complex challenges, and supporting a team that values innovation and expertise.
- Respond to work orders to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as scheduled.
- Assist engineers in building and modifying production equipment, including reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Create and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and preventative maintenance checklists.
- Manage maintenance projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and budget control.
- Train and mentor other maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Use precision tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade school preferred.
- 4-7 years of practical experience in maintenance disciplines (e.g., HVAC repair, industrial equipment maintenance, certified auto mechanic, avionics technician).
- Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and TPM/5S practices.
- Expert-level skills in troubleshooting and programming PLCs, AC/DC variable drive control systems, and control system components.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with CMMS (e.g., Maintain
X) and project management. - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Annual base salary range: hourly $28 - $42
