Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Installing and maintaining 480, 240, 120 AC systems and low voltage electrical systems.Interpreting and following electronic drawings.Disassembling equipment and repairing or replacing faulty components.Making electrical and electronic repairs or improvements to process controls, unit operations, and equipment following NEC standards.Analyzing deficiencies in electrical and electronic equipment to determine causes.Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining motor controls (AC & DC), SCRs, drives, instrumentation, process sensors, electronic controls, lighting, HVAC controls, and other electrical/electronic equipment.Ensuring products meet customer specifications and expectations.Working in a team environment to reach consensus decisions and maintain constructive relationships.Utilizing safe work practices and appropriate safety equipment.Operating in compliance with Hexcel Salt Lake City Quality/Environmental Systems, policies, procedures, and Code of Business Conduct.Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, and fully qualified journeyman electrician/electronic technician with at least 5 years of industry experience.Basic computer data entry skills preferred.Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.Proficiency in written and spoken communication.Ability to apply mathematical concepts to electronic formulas and theories.Knowledge of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and control systems.Legal eligibility to work in the U.S., including citizenship, residency, or authorized status.Hexcel is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
