Operations Assistant

Overview

We’re hiring an Operations Assistant to keep jobs moving, schedules tight, and customers informed. This role owns execution and follow-through so projects don’t stall and leads don’t go cold. Your day to day will consist of coordinating schedules with customers & our shop. We are a small business, and as such this role has a great opportunity for growth as the company grows.

This position is part-time, and will grow into a full-time position as the company grows.

This is not a sales or installer position.

• Answer incoming phone calls and return missed calls
• Schedule installs and manage the shop calendar
• Follow up on quotes, deposits, and signed proposals
• Order parts, track lead times, and stage upcoming jobs
• Communicate with customers before and during installs
• Maintain accurate job records in Odoo
• Coordinate internally so technicians have what they need

• Excellent communications skills
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Comfortable with phone, email, and basic software systems
• Able to manage multiple projects without dropping details
• Clear communicator who keeps things moving
• Experience in trades, construction, automotive, RV, or service businesses is a plus
• Experience owning or operating your own business is a big plus
