HVAC Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary

JM Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This position follows a rotational travel schedule of 10 days on / 4 days off and requires regular out-of-town travel, including air travel. Candidates must be comfortable working away from home for extended periods and flying to job sites as needed.

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Work on Trane commercial equipment, including RTUs, VAV systems, and associated controls
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Assist with system start-ups, testing, and commissioning
• Complete service reports, work orders, and job documentation accurately
• Maintain safety compliance and professional standards on all job sites
• Travel to job sites on a 10-day on / 4-day off rotation, including flying
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience required
• EPA Certification
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in remote job locations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively and fly for work
• Comfortable being away from home for 10 consecutive days
