This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and facilities through strategic planning, risk mitigation, and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the on-site security team.
* Manage the security department’s budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting expenses.
* Provide coaching and professional development through regular one-on-one meetings with security guards and receptionists, offering feedback, support, and performance guidance.
* Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
* Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance and access control.
* Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies.
* Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
* Maintain accurate and detailed incidents and activity reports.
* Support and execute global security programs and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Ensure alignment to business objectives, relevant security frameworks, and O.C. Tanner’s Information Security policies.
* Develop and maintain emergency response and business continuity plans.
* Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and preparedness across the organization.
* Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure physical and digital data protection.
* Support security functions and provide guidance and strategic leadership across global offices and retail jewelry store locations, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate standards.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in security management or supervisory role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
* Proficiency in security technologies and systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
