Position: Sales Representative - Salt Lake City

The Territory Sales Rep will be responsible for building and expanding reach across the region through growing new and existing relationships.

SUMMARY
The Territory Sales Representative is an individual who would like to take part in building something greater. You will be responsible for building and expanding Ecco's reach across the region through growing new and existing relationships. You will have the autonomy to generate sales and solutions to customers that are mutually beneficial to both Ecco and the client.

DUTIES

  • TSRs objective to find and develop new customers, maintain, and grow current customers, understand the fleet demands and requirements of the customer base and grow overall performance of the assigned territory.
  • Manage assigned territory with support from the region and central operations team.
  • Communicate with existing customers and leads to identify and understand needs.
  • Secure commitments (signed contracts) from existing customers and potential customers.
  • Support operations team as requested and as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management by resolving customer concerns, billing, or service issues professionally and quickly.
  • Drive profitable growth by strengthening and expanding customer base through regular visits to current customers, cold calls, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan, including coordinating strategies for account management, customer presentations, forecasting equipment needs and collections with operational team.
  • Develop and become an expert in understanding the construction and rental market within assigned territory.
  • Develop and become an expert in our product knowledge and assisting customers to spec out the correct equipment and applications.
  • Maintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.
  • Maintain strong situational awareness regarding fleet assets in assigned territory.
  • Daily documentation of all activities in company CRM system.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three (3) - five (5) years of successful sales experience within heavy dirt equipment rental or dealer organization.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Possess reoccurring transferrable book of business
  • Experience working with web-based CRM software
  • Heavy Earthmoving Rental Experience Preferred
  • Strong sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to cultivate and nurture customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
