As a Mid-Market Account Executive for the Emerging Markets vertical, you’ll expand our business accounts and acquire new customers within the financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy industries. You will own the entire sales process from prospecting to close, using creative approaches to pursue net new business. You will navigate complex deals, think strategically, and drive to exceed goals. RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage prospects from lead to close
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate Gong’s value proposition, creating excitement among prospects
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers
- Run and implement pilot programs
- Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quota quarterly
- 3+ years of relevant closing experience, plus outbound SDR/BDR experience; preferably sold to Financial Services, Healthcare, Consulting, Manufacturing or Energy organizations
- You are located in Salt Lake City and willing to come into the office 3 days a week
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience with close deals at $50-$250K+
- Previous outbound prospecting experience into greenfield territory
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (e.g., President’s Club, Rep of the Year)
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders with multiple decision makers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The annual OTE for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors including skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. Gong uses a location-based compensation structure. The total compensation package may include base salary, incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some programs offer the potential to exceed targeted earnings.
