Bio Space is seeking a Cardiometabolic Care Specialist I – Ecosystem to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role focuses on advancing Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic portfolio within the U.S. market through strategic partner engagement and sales excellence.
About the DepartmentThe Cardiometabolic Care Sales Team is at the forefront of Novo Nordisk’s sales efforts for diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular therapies. Our mission is to connect innovative treatments with new specialties, build cardiometabolic advocates, and apply learnings that impact local markets and the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Engage cardiovascular physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other key stakeholders within targeted accounts and community advocacy partners.
- Develop and update annual health system account plans to maximize sales outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with specialists, health system decision-makers and internal stakeholders.
- Overcome resistance to product prescribing and tailor value propositions within the health system context.
- Represent Novo Nordisk at academic to influence residents, fellows and other trainees.
- Analyze and extract actionable insights from data to build and execute a business plan.
- Manage time, resources and discretionary budget for maximum impact on sales and customer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
Pharm
D required. - Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales, marketing or medical/healthcare experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales in multiple business channels and lead decision‑making initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of cardiometabolic disease state and Novo Nordisk products.
- Intermediate computer skills (Windows Word and Excel); prior sales data/call reporting software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to meet community partners.
Salt Lake City, Utah
Full‑time – Mid‑Senior level – Salary range: $86,000 to $106,000 plus variable bonus and benefits.
