We are now seeking a Director of Sales who is passionate, results-driven, and strategically minded to lead our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment at Grand Hyatt Bali
.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue from the MICE segment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and key industry partners to position Grand Hyatt Bali as a premier destination for business events, conferences, and incentives. The position requires close collaboration with the Revenue, Events, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure successful event delivery and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share from the MICE segment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and professional conference organizers to drive business opportunities.

Identify, solicit, and convert new MICE accounts while maintaining relationships with existing key accounts to ensure repeat business.

Lead contract negotiations and oversee the full sales cycle for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.

Collaborate closely with Event Planning, Banquets, and Revenue Management teams to ensure smooth coordination and optimal profitability for all events.

Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and sales missions to enhance brand visibility and generate business leads.

Monitor and report MICE performance metrics, sales targets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s overall business objectives.

Provide coaching and leadership to the MICE sales team to achieve targets and maintain Hyatt’s standards of excellence in service and sales execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Sales within the MICE segment, preferably with an international 5-star hotel.

Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing large-scale MICE accounts.

Strong network within the corporate and MICE industries, with deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (Delphi, Opera, etc.).

Energetic, result-oriented, and capable of inspiring and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
