• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Comply with all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as applicable.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
• Greet guests and engage helpfully to assist with their needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties as required by business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong guest question resolution skills and attention to detail; ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds; frequent handling of merchandise.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures (34°F to
  -10°F as needed) and potential allergens.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; drive-up and carryout duties may be required.
