Overview

Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) rting hourly rate: $16.00 USD per hour. A Style Consultant is focused on strong operations and exceptional guest experience, delivering in-store presentations that inspire guests and support quick self-discovery. They help guests on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, ensuring the floor is stocked, accurately priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use them to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization, locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes with clearance merchandising and signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service is moved to the sales floor throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.

• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally; handle and move merchandise safely.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
