This role is responsible for maintaining the Tire & Battery Center (TBC), providing expert member service, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

$19.00/hr - $26.00/hr

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by conducting regular safety sweeps, following proper forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, complying with company steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the TBC sales floor according to company policies and effectively handle claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Stock merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays, remove damaged goods, and price merchandise.
• Monitor tire and battery orders daily and help members with appointments for installation.
• Communicate lead time changes, cancellations, and offer alternatives for installation or tire fitments.
• Assist members with tire maintenance and repair services.
• Provide expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing and service decisions, and resolving concerns.
• Use Sam’s Garage, product knowledge, and reference materials to recommend tire and battery products, explain warranties, and ensure members receive the best service and value.
• Drive sales and service excellence by communicating value and collaborating with associates to promote TBC offerings.
• Prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, referencing Sam’s Garage to identify waiting members and maximizing efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
• Leverage technology and handheld devices to plan sales, improve the service experience, and support new tool adoption.
• Serve as a brand advocate by providing a high quality member experience, modeling service, and mentoring team members.
• Operate TBC equipment safely, receive, store, and dispose of merchandise and supplies, and maintain documents.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using proper procedures for membership and payment types.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity while executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, and communicating progress.
• Practice respect for individuals, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and a pursuit of excellence as part of Walmart values.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
