Thrift Shop Manager

Uplift Thrift™, a thriving nonprofit thrift shop located in the heart of Millcreek City at 2090 East 3300 South
, with an established reputation for quality merchandise, great customer service and loyal customers needs a retail manager.

The ideal candidate has retail store supervisory experience with an ability to lead a team of committed volunteers and staff in a collaborative environment.

Hours: T, W, F, Sat 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Th 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.

The manager is responsible for directing all aspects of the thrift shop daily operations including but not limited to:

• · Opening and closing the shop.
• · Training staff and volunteers.
• · Managing shift schedules.
• · Managing donations.
• · Ordering supplies as needed.
• · Ensuring prompt and accurate financial record keeping.

Skills/

Job Qualifications:

• · Multiyear experience in retail management and employee supervision.
• · Proven skills in process improvement, merchandising.
• · Experience with retail technology.
• · Service-focused and process-driven with excellent interpersonal and communication. skills.
• · Intermediate skill level with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• · Ability to lift 30 pounds.
