The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for both demand and inventory planning, ensuring optimal product availability to support sales and strategic objectives. This role involves managing the entire sales forecasting process, new product distribution, and inventory flow, while aligning market needs with the overall company strategy. The Supply Chain Manager will supervise Inventory Planners and personally manage all demand planning activities.
Collaboration with retail, merchandising, finance, and global teams is essential for success.
- Actively create and manage the full monthly forecasting process, incorporating weekly performance reviews.
- Prepare the monthly best estimate, coordinating with budget and commercial targets.
- Conduct sales planning at the product category/family/SKU level.
- Coordinate with the central supply chain on the monthly forecast validation process.
- Review new product profiles, performance, and corresponding baseline cannibalization.
- Understand the company s strategy and business situation to take appropriate actions on inventory flow.
- Collaborate with the central inventory planning team for necessary inventory support on local initiatives to drive business success.
- Monitor both retail stores’ and the regional distribution center’s inventory levels using Tiffany replenishment systems, Anaplan, and Power BI Dashboard.
- Support inventory builds for store openings, renewals, and events.
- Identify product rebalancing opportunities within the distribution network to achieve target inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team on new product forecasts, align launch strategies, and set target stocks for regional warehouses and stores.
- Coordinate with the central supply chain to ensure timely product availability.
- Share visibility on newness launches, including inventory readiness, performance, and forecasts.
- Provide guidance and support to the Inventory Planners, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- 10+ years of business experience in Supply Chain within the luxury or retail industry.
- Knowledge of distribution operations and merchandise planning experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with a multi-product, multi-sales channel environment.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to manage and function in a dynamic environment while handling multiple assignments.
