Cook-Part Time Weekend

Hello, Pine Creek Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is actively looking to hire a part-time Line/Prep Cook. This would be a Friday to Sunday position.

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the food service production area is safe and sanitary.
• Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred
• Food Handler's Permit required
• High School diploma
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed
• Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service
• Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
